Late Throwback Thursday!

Sorry that this is late! But my throwback goes to Hot Wheels! 🙂 I know, not the most girly toy, but my younger brother and I had a collection (his was much bigger) and we’d play with them together all of the time. Hot wheels are a huge part of my childhood memories. There was a time when I was younger, where you could just go to HyVee and there would be a little rack full of Hot Wheel cars, and they were like a dollar. If I remember correctly, on some of the trips when my mom or dad would take Parker and I shopping they’d let us pick one out together, or if it was a good day we’d each get one of our own. That was always exciting. 🙂

Parker and I each had our own roll out mats that were mini cities with roads and building. Of course, his was 2 times the size of mine and it was a actual city (mine had gravel roads and it was dinosaur themed…it was lame at the time), so we almost never used it when we would “play cars.” We would always start by taking turns “buying cars” out of our collection until all that was left was the ugly ones, and then picking our “land” on the mat and then we would spend the next hour “driving” every car individually in its own parking spot on the mat. We could literally play that for hours…some how we found it entertaining.

Thanks for reading…even if it’s actually Friday 😉

Smiles,

Kylie 🙂

Throwback Thursday

My first tbt post goes out the tamagotchi! In fourth grade, at least at my school, every girl had at least one tamagotchi if not multiple ones. They were even banned from our class room at one point because they were such a problem. You had to make sure it was loved, and fed 24/7 and I’m pretty sure that you could have play dates with other tamagotchis. Its crazy how popular these were and now you can hardly find them anywhere.
